Foreign-related civil lawsuit refers to a civil lawsuit with foreign-related factors; The so-called foreign-related factors refer to one of the following three situations:

 

First, the subject of the litigation is foreign-related, that is, one or both parties to the litigation are foreigners, stateless persons, or foreign enterprises and organizations. In the process of hearing domestic civil and commercial cases, if the case has foreign-related elements due to the addition of a party or a third party, it is a foreign-related civil and commercial case.

 

Second, the legal facts as the subject matter of the lawsuit are foreign-related, that is, the fact that the civil legal relationship between the parties occurred, changed, or eliminated occurred in a foreign country.

 

Third, the subject matter of the lawsuit is foreign, that is, the subject matter of the dispute between the parties is abroad.
